Meet the Team

Our small team (currently) of young people educators and support staff have extensive lived experience and qualifications in working with young people. They specialise in being able to relate to young people from a wide range of social, economic and personal backgrounds. Each of our mentors brings their own personal stories and specialist expertise, humanising the interactions they have with the young people they work with.

All our team members are vetted through the Safer Recruitment Guide and are subject to an Enhanced DBS check on the updated system, ensuring the safety and quality of service for young people. It's a vital part of creating a safe and positive environment and making a commitment to keeping children safe from harm. As a further enhancement, each member of our team holds a Personal Safeguarding Policy in line with the CFT Code of Conduct.

All of our team hold qualifications to a minimum level 5 Education & Training, Full relevant Vocation Qualifications, Level 1 in Safeguarding, are First Aid trained and hold Full Public Liability Insurance, Transport Insurance with Breakdown Cover, and two references from a professional and personal source.
